Information you need to know.

Hi everyone, my regular visitors will have noticed my long absence. My wife died over a year ago, and I have finished up living in the south of Western Australia. My wifes dying is what I wanted to talk to you about. She had pains in the middle of her back and the doctor told her she had a chest infection, by the next morning my wife could hardly walk, so we took her to the hospital.

She was having a heart attack, she died the next day. My wife was a diabetic and sometimes when a diabetic is having a heart attack they don't get pains in the chest. They get pains in the middle of their back, between their shoulder blades.

For some reason Diabetics are not told about this until it is too late.

What is even worse,Some Doctors don't even know this.

If you are a diabetic, never let a doctor tell you that you have a chest infection when you have pains in the middle of your back,

tell him you are a diabetic and demand to be sent to a hospital for tests, it is better to be safe than sorry.

Do not take the risk! If this saves just one persons life I will be happy. Thank you for listening to me. May you have good health. Gordi
